Privacy policy
This policy explains what the Mystery Files app and the mysteryfiles.rest website collect and why.
What we collect
- Device information: a random install identifier, device model, iOS version and build, system region and primary language, and the country and city of your IP address.
- Push notification token, if you allow notifications.
- Install attribution from AppsFlyer: the AppsFlyer identifier and the install source.
Why
- To choose how the app starts on your device.
- To understand where installs come from and improve the app.
What stays on your device
Your onboarding choices, progress, verdicts, notebook, badges and settings are stored only on your device.
Sharing and storage
Data is stored on Cloudflare servers. Install attribution is processed by AppsFlyer. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
Your choices
You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings and ask us to delete the data linked to your install identifier. Deleting the app removes all local data.
